Ever wondered what goes into putting an art exhibition together ????
How it is done ??? Overpowering the challenges of unpacking art... how art is hung to tell a story... and so much more...
No great events come without hard work, and so is the case of 'Mending Fences'.
Pre- Exhibition preparations echoed in the empty hall of Science Centre... welcoming the packed arts delivered to the spot by 25 different Artists from all over India... The art works silently waited, lined up to be displayed… and occupy a space on the wall to convey to the audience the thoughts of their creators.
Shortage of time, loads to manage…. two brilliant heads ----- Rahul Bhattacharya & Karishma Shah and many young helping hands… driven by excitement, tension, ideas & PASSION (also cigarettes at times :P)…. This is exactly how the picture looked liked.
One never knows how big a part; stuff such as Stair-Stands, Cello-tapes, Double side tapes, Plastic wire… etc etc play…. and help the art pieces to travel from the packed boxes to the display walls to be gazed... appreciated... envied.
These were a few scenes from the crime scene where the crime 'Mending Fences' is happening... and will be happening over this weekend.
