As professional photographers, we are always creating for clients... matching deadlines... working with client briefs... and all the shouldas, couldas, and wouldas that befuddle our brains and creep into our dreams...
and so i think there's something really special about creating for yourself and then putting it out for the world to see...
Projects i have done so far -
the desk project
super styled table top series
The desk project was one of the most fun personal projects I have ever done. It was especially conceptualised for the relaunch of this site. I remember a day or two before the shoot, the whole studio was completely loaded with pastel crockery, luscious treats, vintage pieces, every possible prop and The Team going all gaga over them.
"In the sun we trust" and with this approach I started the shoot being really careful about the placement and styling of the desks, adding no negative space and being very meticulous about the colour palette and theme of the shoot and its congruence with every section.
When a photographer undertakes an assignment there's always an unsaid perspective behind it. For this Desk Project, the white desk is the constant entity in every picture which symbolises me and the props keeping on changing and shuffling representing different sections owing to the fact how I work on different genre of photography to the best of my abilities.
The pictures give me an absolute sense of bliss, have a look at them -

This series of images was done for an Art Exhibition - 'Mending Fences'. This was my first attempt at Fine Art Photography.
I wanted/intended to tell a story with these seven frames. But i will still let viewers have their own interpretations for the series and hence have left them 'Untitled'.

This photo sums up the #LifeOfAWeddingPhotographer. Just back home after 10+ hours of traveling... Mahabalipuram to Chennai to Ahemadabad to Surat... And have a call time of 9 AM for tomorrow morning :)
Only have so much time to myself for charging all the batteries (including the one that is in my head). But I am thankful to be back home... in a job that pushes me to focus and notice, coming home to all this familiarity and warmth is always calming. At home I can turn off my clarity and close my eyes.
And so concluding this series I started a week back with this image. Thank You all once again for listening :)
